How does training in Taekwon-Do help build self esteem in children? I see it time and time again, a shy young kid comes to our classes to gain confidence within themselves. It is great to see the transformation in children from when they first join to a few months/years later, it’s incredible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Where does this develop from? Our programs are designed to continuously challenge students in a safe environment. With this comes evidence that they can overcome any challenge with the correct attitude and mindset. Confidence is essentially based on evidence. Those who consistently challenge themselves gradually build more self esteem to go conquer any challenge that comes their way. It’s fantastic to see the difference in some children who walk through our doors following this process and this certainly spills over into life outside the training hall. 👊💪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
